Unpend runs on your computer. Your LinkedIn data never reaches us, because there is nowhere for it to go.
Last updated: 11 August 2026
Unpend is a browser extension that helps you clean up your own LinkedIn network: withdrawing invitations you sent, removing connections, unfollowing people and companies, and managing group requests. It acts on your account, on your instruction, using your own logged-in session.
It is not a scraper and not a data product. We do not build profiles, we do not sell or share anything, and there is no account to create.
Everything you can see in the extension is stored in your browser's own extension storage (chrome.storage.local): the lists you load into the Network Manager, your settings, your protect list, and local counters such as how many invitations you have withdrawn.
None of it is transmitted anywhere. You can erase all of it at any time from Options, and uninstalling the extension removes it automatically.
The extension only runs on your LinkedIn network and groups pages. It is not injected into your feed, your messages, or anyone's profile.
Licence checks. When you activate or re-check Unpend Pro, three values are sent to our verification endpoint: your licence key, an anonymous install identifier generated on your device, and the activation identifier our payment provider issued for that key. Nothing about your LinkedIn account is attached. This is the only routine outbound request the extension makes.
Uninstall survey. If you remove the extension, your browser opens a short optional survey page with the extension version and interface language in the address. Answering it is entirely up to you, and it asks for nothing that identifies you.
To load a large list quickly, Unpend can call LinkedIn's own internal endpoints from your logged-in session, exactly the requests linkedin.com makes for itself. These are first-party requests from your browser to LinkedIn. They carry your session's CSRF token because LinkedIn requires it; that token is read from the page, used in the request, and never stored or sent anywhere else.
You can switch this off in Options under "Use fast API collection". With it off, Unpend reads only the rendered page, which is slower but touches no API.
Purchases are handled by Creem, our Merchant of Record, who processes the payment and issues your licence key. Your name, email and payment details are given to Creem, not to us; we never see or store card details. Creem's own privacy policy governs that data.
There are none. No analytics SDK, no telemetry, no advertising identifiers, no cookies set by us, and no third-party scripts on this website.
Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to export, correct or delete on request. For data held by our payment provider in connection with a purchase, contact us and we will help you reach them. If you are in the EU or UK, this does not affect your statutory rights.
Questions about this policy, your licence, a refund, or anything else: write to us and we answer within 3 business days.
